Easter General Vestry this week
This Wednesday (21st March) is the date for our special annual general meeting for the church. This is a very important date in the life of the church as we elect members to represent us to serve onto the select vestry. Everyone is very welcome to attend and hear a report of the last 12 months and all registered members are welcome to vote. The meeting will start at 8pm.
N.B. there will be no Gathering this week.
Announcement about Stephen
With a very mixed bag of emotions Stephen announced yesterday that he will be leaving St Columba’s later this year to take up his new appointment as the UK and Ireland Mission Director for SAMS. The timings have yet to be finalised.
Many many congratulations to Stephen on this exciting new stage in his mission journey. Please remember Stephen Cathy and their family in your prayers as they prepare to move on and start this exciting new chapter.

Prayer for Christian Unity
Join with us and our local churches as we come together to celebrate all that unites us together in Christ.
This year’s service is being held at St. Colman’s from 2.30 on Sunday 21st January.
Revision of Vestry members
Every year, each Church of Ireland parish updates its official membership called the Vestry Register. The resister is now open and will be reviewed and closed at the next meeting of the Select Vestry on Monday 12th February.  If you are new to the church in the past year or have never registered, please see the Church wardens who will help you compete the necessary form.
