Don’t forget the Psalms
We were reminded today of the beauty and importance of the Psalms. “The Psalms were the songs of Jesus” we were reminded.
We looked at Psalm 29 and the wonderful, vibrant and powerful description of the voice of God and we were encouraged not to think of the Psalms as dreary, irrelevant, Old Testament stuff. Rather we should celebrate them and hear the voice of God whisper, speak, shout and thunder through them.
Praise God for the Psalms!

We began our Christmas services with our annual Carols by candlelight on Sunday 17th. Special thanks to our young people from Re:Act for serving refreshments before and after the service and to John for playing the organ for us. Last but by no means least a very special thank you to Kirsty for putting together a special choir for the evening and drilling them well and giving us such wonderful carols.
Gathering
The weekly Gathering started again on Wednesday 13th Sept at 8pm. For the next number of weeks we will be following 1 Peter as we seek to understand what it means to Walk the talk. We will be looking at the whole idea of transformation, particularly of the mind.
